NUMARK Associates seeks highly experienced professionals to fill the following prospective future positions (full and part-time):
- Sr. Power Generation Expert
- Sr. Renewable Energy Expert (Hydro, Wind, Solar, Biomass, Geothermal)
- Sr. Energy Efficiency Expert (demand side, supply side)
- Sr. Transmission and Distribution Expert
- Sr. Smart Grid Expert
- Sr. Biofuels Expert
- Sr. Fossil Resource Development Expert (upstream midstream, downstream).
The Sr. Experts shall have a proven track record of providing advisory energy services at the strategic level to electric utilities, project developer sponsors, or governmental institutions. Candidates must have experience leading energy-sector feasibility studies or participating as subject matter experts in the technical, financial, legal, and/or environmental evaluation of projects/programs in their area of expertise. Relevant policy and regulatory experience is a plus. Technical experts must have a good knowledge of U.S. businesses active in the energy sector and of the competitiveness of U.S. technology in the global energy market.
Candidates should have an advanced degree in engineering, economics, finance, sustainable energy, or environmental policy and a minimum of 10 years experience in any of the following areas: power generation, renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, transmission and distribution, or fossil resource development. Experience in developing and lower income economies is an asset. Most of the work will be conducted in the U.S. with international travel occasionally required. Candidates must be U.S Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents and have demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
